Principal Designer

As the Lead Designer for a premium set of HomeLane customers, your role will involve being the main point of contact from the initial meeting to order booking and design finalization. You will collaborate closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide them with the best design solutions for their homes. This includes tasks such as quoting, detailed designing, and preparing production drawings for manufacturing. Your focus will be on prioritizing and executing multiple design projects efficiently. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing sales reports, project turnaround time, and customer satisfaction metrics. Collaboration with various departments within HomeLane will be essential to enhance the design offerings for customers. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the primary interface for premium HomeLane customers throughout the design process - Understand customer requirements and deliver optimal design solutions - Manage multiple design projects simultaneously - Analyze sales data, project timelines, and customer feedback - Collaborate with internal teams to enhance design offerings Qualifications Required: - Minimum of a 4-year Diploma in Interior Designing/Architecture from a reputed institution - At least 10 years of industry experience OR 6 years of industry experience with a minimum of 2 years at HomeLane - Proficiency in Google Sketchup software - Strong communication skills in English and preferably in the local language - Prior experience in residential projects - Customer-centric approach to design solutions, balancing functionality, aesthetics, and budget considerations - Demonstrated site experience ensuring hassle-free installation of proposed designs This job requires a Lead Designer who is not only skilled in interior designing but also possesses strong communication abilities, project management skills, and a customer-centric mindset.
