Inviting applications for the role of Principal consultant - Redshift DBA
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Redshift Administrator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and management of AWS Redshift.
This role requires a deep understanding of AWS service, Redshift, strong technical skills,
and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Proven experience as a DBA, Redshift Administrator, or similar role managing Amazon Redshift clusters.

Administer Amazon Redshift clusters including provisioning, configuration, and management.
Perform routine database backups, disaster recovery, and ensure data integrity and availability.
Monitor and maintain the health of the Redshift clusters, troubleshoot, and resolve performance and capacity issues.
Monitor and optimize the performance of Redshift clusters (e.g., query optimization, table design, and indexing).
Strong knowledge of Amazon Redshift architecture, including query performance optimization, distribution styles, and storage optimization.
Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem, including EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and VPC.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and task management.
Experience with data warehouse modeling concepts, ETL processes, and integration tools.
Collaborate with data engineering teams for data integration using ETL pipelines.
Assist with the design and maintenance of ETL workflows that load data into Redshift from various sources.
Develop and maintain scripts for database monitoring, backups, and management tasks using Python, Shell, or SQL.
Strong understanding of database security practices, including access control and encryption techniques.
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Datadog) to monitor database performance.
