Principal Consultant, QA Analyst

We are currently seeking applications for the role of Principal Consultant, QA Analyst. In this position, you will be responsible for developing a comprehensive framework for software testing and coordinating testing activities for both new and existing releases. You will collaborate with other QA Leads, project managers, development managers, system administrators, architects, and DBA members to ensure the efficiency and quality of testing processes. Responsibilities: - Lead and develop various test scenarios including functional, system, regression, load, integration, and performance tests - Work closely with development leads and business analysts to design and create necessary test data for test scenarios - Execute tests for assigned projects, monitor test execution progress, manage defects and issues, and assess risk to quality based on verification and validation results - Define and implement process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and software quality Qualifications we are looking for in you: Minimum Qualifications: - BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience - Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT, LoadRunner) and Test Management Tools (e.g., ALM) - In-depth experience in quality assurance/control, knowledge of software development life cycle principles, and quality assurance methodologies - Experience collaborating with developers, project managers, system administrators, business analysts, and database administrators Preferred Qualifications/ Skills: - Extensive background in application design and programming, with a strong understanding of SDLC and trace matrices - Strong analytical skills and broad knowledge of applications, web platforms, reporting, and analytics - Advanced knowledge of quality assurance methodologies such as continuous integration and test-driven development - Proficiency in test automation tools and Test Management Tools - Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and problem-solving abilities If you are a qualified professional with a passion for quality assurance and software testing, we encourage you to apply for this challenging and rewarding position with Genpact.
