Job Description

You will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting F5 BIG-IP devices, including LTM, GTM/DNS, APM, and ASM modules. This role entails handling incidents, service requests, and changes while ensuring high availability and security of network services. Your duties will include monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting F5 BIG-IP load balancers, performing L2-level support for production incidents, implementing and validating F5 configurations, collaborating with L3 teams for complex escalations, applying firmware upgrades and patches, assisting in capacity planning and performance optimization, and working on F5 iRules and automation scripts. You will also be required to document troubleshooting steps, configurations, and solutions for knowledge sharing, coordinate with cross-functional teams for network and application integration, and adhere to ITIL best practices for Incident, Problem, and Change Management. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. You should have good experience in managing F5 Load Balancers (BIG-IP LTM, GTM/DNS, APM, ASM) and strong knowledge of F5 iRules, SSL/TLS, HTTP/S, DNS, and TCP/IP. Hands-on experience in troubleshooting F5 devices using logs, packet captures, and dashboards is essential, along with a good understanding of networking concepts like VLANs, Routing, NAT, SNAT, and Firewalls. Experience with F5 CLI, TMSH, and REST API for automation and troubleshooting is required, and basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or Ansible) is a plus. Exposure to cloud-based load balancing solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desirable, as well as familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management). Preferred qualifications include being a strong communicator in English, both spoken and written, holding an F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator (F5-101 & F5-201) certification, possessing a CCNA or equivalent networking certification, and having ITIL v4 Foundation knowledge (optional). Your primary location will be India-Hyderabad, and the job is a full-time position.,
