Job Description

As an evolutionary Subject Matter Expert (SME) joining the Web UI Studio at Globant, you will be a part of a team that creates digital products with a robust and future-proof architecture. With a focus on React.js, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and frontend architecture, your primary responsibilities will include: - Providing technical solutions and suggesting tools and technologies to clients and stakeholders that best match their requirements. - Overseeing the development, testing, and implementation of technical solutions to ensure they meet defined project requirements. - Setting up guidelines and defining best architectural practices for projects, ensuring team adherence. - Offering subject expertise and guidance to architects, leads, and engineers throughout the software development life cycle. - Influencing and leading large teams or multiple teams to achieve their goals. - Formulating and executing strategic and tactical measures to ensure team success. - Playing a solution owner role for building solutions on the platform, owning RFPs and proposals. - Conducting technical design reviews and code review audits to ensure best practices are followed. To qualify for this role, you should have: - 14+ years of experience in frontend development, with at least 5+ years in an architectural or technical leadership role. - Expert knowledge of React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Redux/Zustand/MobX, and modern frontend patterns. - Strong experience with Next.js, SSR, SSG, and micro-frontend architecture. - Solid understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets. - Hands-on experience with Webpack, Vite, Babel, and build optimization techniques. - Familiarity with UI frameworks (Tailwind, Material UI, Chakra, etc.) and CSS-in-JS solutions. - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) for frontend deployment and scaling. - Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Proven ability to lead teams, conduct architectural reviews, and communicate with stakeholders. - Extensive experience in solutioning of Enterprise Applications. - Must have exposure to work on proposals, RFP/RFIs.
