Principal AI Scientist

As a Principal AI Scientist in a client-facing leadership role, you will drive innovation in Agentic AI systems by designing, prototyping, and deploying autonomous, reasoning-driven AI architectures that transform enterprise operations, decision-making, and engagement. You will collaborate with client executives to define AI roadmaps and lead the end-to-end execution of cognitive systems. Your responsibilities will include architecting and operationalizing Agentic AI systems, partnering with client executives, prototyping and fine-tuning large and small language models, leading multi-agent and multi-modal research, collaborating with engineering teams for model training and deployment, optimizing distributed training and inference pipelines, and serving as a thought leader in the AI community. Additionally, you will mentor AI scientists and engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning and curiosity. Qualifications Required: - PhD or Masters in Computer Science, AI/ML, Computational Statistics, or related field. - 8+ years of experience in applied AI, ML, or data science with hands-on deployment of advanced AI systems. - Expertise in foundation models, multi-agent frameworks, and reasoning-based AI architectures. - Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, JAX, and LLM orchestration frameworks. - Experience with Neo Cloud platforms for distributed training, fine-tuning, and inference optimization. - Knowledge of containerized and GPU-accelerated AI environments. - Strong understanding of MLOps, scaling pipelines, and performance optimization. - Experience in client-facing roles or consulting environments. - Theoretical grounding in reinforcement learning, planning, and cognitive architectures. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience designing multi-agent orchestration systems or SLM/LAM architectures. - Familiarity with knowledge graphs, memory, and reasoning layers in agentic systems. - Track record of open-source contributions or published research in applied AI. - Success in taking AI research prototypes into scalable production systems.
