Primavera P6 Project Planner / Scheduler

As a Primavera P6 Project Planner / Scheduler, your role involves developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Primavera P6. This includes integrating scope, deliverables, resources, and timelines. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure accurate schedule development and tracking. Monitoring and controlling project progress to identify delays and propose mitigation strategies will be a key part of your responsibilities. Regularly updating schedules based on progress reports and field inputs is essential. Additionally, you will generate reports such as Gantt charts, S-curves, and critical path analyses to support decision-making. Supporting cost and resource planning to ensure alignment with project budgets and timelines is also expected from you. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders - Monitor and control project progress - Update schedules regularly based on progress reports and field inputs - Generate reports such as Gantt charts, S-curves, and critical path analyses - Support cost and resource planning Required Skills & Qualifications: - Proficiency in Primavera P6 and other project management tools (e.g., MS Project) - Strong understanding of project planning concepts, methodologies, and lifecycle phases - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Analytical mindset with the ability to identify scheduling risks and suggest solutions - Experience with international or multi-disciplinary projects is a plus Educational Background: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field In your work environment, you will be required to work on-site in Ahmedabad, Gujarat for a 6 months extendable contract.
