Primary School Teacher

• Key Responsibilities

1. Academic Delivery

• Plan, prepare, and deliver structured lessons for all core subjects (English, Mathematics, EVS, etc.).
• Use innovative teaching methods, activities, and resources to make learning interactive and effective.
• Integrate technology, audio-visual aids, and hands-on learning in classroom teaching.
• Assess students’ progress regularly through assignments, tests, projects, and activities.

2. Classroom Management

• Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Manage classroom discipline in a fair and empathetic manner.
• Ensure smooth transition of activities to maintain students’ focus and engagement.

3. Student Development

• Identify and support diverse learning needs, including slow learners and gifted students.
• Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, and moral values.
• Provide individual attention where required to help students reach their potential.

4. Communication & Reporting

• Maintain proper student records including attendance, assessments, and performance.
• Communicate students’ progress and areas of improvement to parents during PTMs and as required.
• Collaborate with colleagues and academic coordinators to align with school policies and curriculum.

5. Co-Curricular & Extra-Curricular Involvement

• Actively participate in school events, assemblies, competitions, and celebrations.
• Support students in developing extracurricular skills and teamwork.

6. Professional Expectations

• Adhere to school policies, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain professional conduct, dress code, and punctuality.
• Attend training sessions, workshops, and capacity-building programs organized by the school.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹22,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kollam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Teaching: 5 years (Preferred)
• total work: 1 year (Preferred)
