Primary - Middle Science Teacher

As a Science Teacher at our school, your role will involve teaching students from Grade 1 to Grade 8 with a strong emphasis on scientific concepts. Your creative teaching approach will engage young learners in hands-on, inquiry-based science education, fostering a lifelong curiosity about the natural world. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons catering to primary and middle school students. - Design age-appropriate experiments and activities to encourage scientific inquiry and critical thinking. - Develop lesson plans aligned with educational standards and curriculum requirements. - Utilize various teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles. - Regularly assess, monitor, and report on students" progress. - Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and experimentation. - Integrate technology and digital resources into science instruction. - Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary projects and school-wide science events. - Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities. - Maintain classroom discipline in line with school policies. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or a related field (Masters preferred). - Valid teaching certification/license, where applicable. - Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in primary or middle school. - Strong knowledge of general science topics (Life Science, Physical Science, Earth Science, etc.). - Ability to teach in an engaging and interactive manner. - Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills. - Familiarity with inquiry-based learning and 21st-century teaching methods. - Passion for working with children and inspiring a love of science. Preferred: - Master's Degree (M.Sc.) in any Science stream. - CTET-qualified (Central Teacher Eligibility Test). - Training in NEP 2020 implementation or CBSE capacity-building programs. - Experience in organizing Science Fairs, school exhibitions, or related clubs.
