Role & responsibilities

1. Academic Leadership: Provide strategic direction for primary segment academics, ensuring alignment with institution goals.

2. Curriculum Oversight: Lead development, implementation, and review of curriculum for primary classes.

3. Teacher Development: Guide and support teachers for effective pedagogy and professional growth.

4. Student Progress: Oversee assessment methods, track student progress, and suggest improvements.

5. Parent Engagement: Foster communication with parents on academic matters and student growth.

6. Quality Assurance: Ensure academic quality and standards are met in primary segment.

7. Innovation in Teaching: Encourage adoption of effective, innovative teaching practices.

8. Policy Implementation: Implement academic policies relevant to primary education.

9. Collaboration: Work with other heads, coordinators for cohesive academic functioning.

10. Addressing Needs: Identify and address academic needs of students, adapting approaches as needed.

11. Designing Primary Segment Curriculum: Create engaging, age-appropriate curriculum for primary students aligning with educational standards.

12. Content Creation: Develop learning materials like worksheets, activities, lesson plans for subjects like language, math, science.

13. Learning Outcomes: Ensure curriculum drives specific learning outcomes for primary age children.

14. Collaboration: Work with educators, subject experts to refine content and ensure pedagogical soundness.

15. Assessment Tools: Help create assessments to gauge student learning and progress.

16. Innovation in Teaching: Incorporate innovative teaching methods suitable for primary learners.

17. Alignment with Standards: Ensure curriculum aligns with national or state educational frameworks (like NCERT in India).

18. Feedback Incorporation: Update curriculum based on feedback from teachers, students, parents.
