Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for leading the hybrid cloud business growth by managing the technical and strategic pre-sales activities for hybrid cloud solutions, encompassing on-premises infrastructure, private cloud, and public cloud platforms. Your role will involve close collaboration with sales, pre-sales team, and delivery teams to understand customer requirements, develop innovative solutions, and effectively position hybrid cloud offerings in the Europe region. Key Responsibilities: - Bring your 17+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud architecture, or pre-sales roles to lead the Hybrid Cloud Pre-sales function. - Mentor and oversee a team of pre-sales consultants and solution architects. - Manage the qualification, solutioning, and proposal development processes for multiple opportunities. - Ensure consistency and quality in solution design, pricing, and customer presentations. - Work with sales leadership to build strong opportunity pipelines. - Provide high-quality technical and commercial inputs for responses to RFPs/RFIs. - Design and present hybrid cloud solutions that integrate on-prem, private, and public cloud resources. - Develop solution proposals, bills of materials (BOMs), architectures, and statements of work (SoWs). - Conduct technical discussions with customers and collaborate with OEM and technology partners to enhance solution value. - Enhance pre-sales team competencies through training, certification, and knowledge sharing. - Establish best practices, templates, and reusable assets for solution proposals and presentations. - Engage with CxO level stakeholders at prospective clients in advisory capacity to deliver impactful solution-shaping workshops. - Demonstrate strong client-facing and communication skills to independently address customer pain points and provide suitable solutions. Qualification Required: - Hands-on experience in designing and deploying public/private cloud infrastructure in enterprise organizations. - Proficiency in designing Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) Solutions like Azure Stack, vSAN/Nutanix, vRA, and VCF. - Familiarity with vendor interactions including HP, Hitachi, Microsoft, VMware, Dell EMC, NetApp, and others. - Good understanding of various IaaS platforms, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, OpenStack), and hybrid cloud technology stacks. - Knowledge of software-defined infrastructure for different OEMs such as DELL-EMC, VMware, NetApp, etc. - Experience in designing public cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) and operations solutions including product-driven delivery models and SRE. - Ability to design automation and observability solutions. - Strong understanding of Cloud infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, applications) for end-to-end Cloud Infrastructure architectures. - Proficiency in designing private cloud solutions encompassing data center, compute, storage, backup, and CyberVault.
