Pre-Sales Leader

As a Pre-Sales Leader at Persistent, you play a crucial role in driving the growth of the pre-sales pipeline, ensuring high customer satisfaction, and leading a team of pre-sales specialists. Your responsibilities will include: - Proactively identifying and qualifying new business opportunities to increase the pre-sales pipeline value each quarter - Developing innovative GCP-based solutions tailored to customer needs - Conducting and managing Proof of Concepts (POCs) with a good success rate - Ensuring timely and accurate responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) - Leading and mentoring a team of pre-sales specialists, monitoring team productivity metrics - Facilitating customer strategy workshops, conducting whiteboarding sessions, and presenting technical concepts to audiences - Designing end-to-end data architectures, developing proof-of-concept solutions, and translating business requirements into technical specifications - Staying abreast of emerging data technologies, contributing to reusable architectural assets, and mentoring junior team members - Representing the company at industry events and webinars as a subject matter expert The qualifications we are looking for in a candidate are: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related role with a strong emphasis on pre-sales and solution design - Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and other cloud data platforms - Strong understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance - Proficiency in at least one programming language for data manipulation and automation - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team In addition to competitive salary and benefits, Persistent offers a culture focused on talent development, opportunities to work with cutting-edge technologies, employee engagement initiatives, and insurance coverage for self, spouse, children, and parents.
