Job Description

The Pre-Primary Teacher is responsible for creating a positive, engaging, and enriching learning environment for children aged [specify age range, e.g., 3-6 years]. This role requires fostering the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development of children by implementing developmentally appropriate activities, teaching strategies, and individualized attention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instruction & Curriculum Delivery:
  • Plan, organize, and implement daily lessons based on a structured curriculum, incorporating play-based learning.
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the varying needs and learning styles of individual children.
  • Encourage curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills through hands-on activities and interactive lessons.
  • Classroom Management:
  • Create a warm, welcoming, and safe classroom environment.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s policies.
  • Ensure the classroom is organized, clean, and conducive to learning.
  • Assessment & Reporting:
  • Observe and assess students' development, skills, and behavioral patterns regularly.
  • Keep records of children's progress and share insights with parents during parent-teacher meetings or via regular updates.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with other educators and staff members to support student growth and create a cohesive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and school management, sharing updates on child development and classroom activities.
  • Health & Safety:
  • Ensure children’s safety at all times, both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Maintain awareness of any medical needs or allergies and ensure proper care is provided.
  • Extracurricular Activities:
  • Plan and participate in school events, celebrations, and field trips to enrich the students' learning experience.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or related field (preferred).
  • Certification in early childhood education.
  • Experience working with young children, ideally in a pre-primary or preschool setting.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Patient, caring, and adaptable with a passion for working with young children.

  • Strong understanding of child development and early learning practices.
  • Ability to create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle classroom challenges with a positive attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
