Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and direct public relations programs to create and maintain a favorable public image for Akosha.
  • Collaborate with the external

    PR firm

    to ensure optimal delivery of PR campaigns, maintaining a high level of communication.
  • Create company literature and other forms of communication.
  • Work with the

    marketing team

    to create marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic.
  • Coordinate with advertisers for timely and usable ad submissions.
  • Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications.
  • Review

    email marketing campaigns

  • Provide recommendations on site design and operation from a PR perspective.
  • Manage events organized by

    Akosha

    , in collaboration with managers and business units.
  • Promote products and services through

    public relations initiatives

  • Develop

    marketing communications campaigns

  • Create content to position Akosha as a

    thought leader

    in the industry.
  • Write and deliver

    press releases

    , media relations content, case studies, white papers, executive bios, corporate newsletters, social media content, and speaking proposals.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain a

    communications strategy

    for key media contacts and customer references.
  • Research media coverage and

    industry trends

  • Develop fresh

    story ideas

  • Conduct

    extensive media outreach

  • Coordinate

Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of

    relevant PR industry experience

  • Experience both as a PR specialist in a company and a PR agency (understanding both sides of the table).
  • Established connections with the

    media fraternity

  • Understanding of

    web technologies

    (preferable, but not mandatory).
  • Experience in

    branding

  • Outstanding communication skills in
