Description
As a PR Specialist at Sudarshan TV Channel LTD, your role will involve developing and executing comprehensive PR strategies to promote channel programming, events, and brand initiatives. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong media relations with journalists, news agencies, influencers, and stakeholders. Additionally, you will draft press releases, media kits, public statements, and crisis communication plans. Your duties will also include organizing press conferences, media briefings, interviews, and on-ground activations. Monitoring media coverage, preparing reports, and managing brand reputation across platforms will be essential, along with collaborating with internal departments to align PR with marketing, digital, and editorial efforts. Your role will involve assisting in preparing press materials, newsletters, and social PR content. Maintaining media contact lists and tracking press coverage for performance reporting will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will help coordinate logistics for interviews, public appearances, and internal campaigns, while acting as a liaison during live events, panel discussions, and public announcements. Desired Skills & Qualifications: - PR Specialist: 4-7 years of experience in PR, journalism, media relations, or communications. - PR Associate: 1-3 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or media coordination. - Strong writing and speaking skills in English and Hindi. - Existing media network and comfort in fast-paced news environments. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in PR, Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field.
