• Production Planning & Scheduling Plan daily/weekly/monthly production schedules based on sales forecasts, order priorities, and capacity planning to ensure on-time delivery.
• Material Planning & Inventory Control Monitor raw material availability, raise purchase requisitions, and coordinate with procurement to maintain optimum inventory levels (avoiding shortages & excess stock).
• Coordination with Cross-Functional Teams Liaise with production, procurement, sales, quality, and warehouse teams to align production and dispatch schedules with customer requirements.
• Logistics & Dispatch Management Oversee outbound logistics, transport scheduling, and warehouse operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of finished goods.
• MIS & Reporting – Track production vs. plan, material utilization, order fulfillment, and logistics cost; prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports for management review.
• Process Optimization – Implement Lean / Just-in-Time practices for reducing lead time, improving material flow, and minimizing production bottlenecks.
• Vendor & Transport Coordination – Work with logistics partners, transporters, and 3PLs for smooth distribution and timely material delivery to customers or project sites.
• Compliance & Documentation – Ensure proper documentation for dispatch, customs clearance (if required), insurance claims, and adherence to GST and statutory norms.
