PPC Executive

Job Description – PPC (Production Planning and Control)Position Summary: (This candidate has only worked in PPC for 3* to 5 years in the Rolling Mill, and that too only in the steel industry*)

The PPC Executive is responsible for coordinating and monitoring production-related activities, ensuring accurate data entry, raw material planning, and maintaining key reports to support efficient manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Management:
• Update manufacturing details on Google Sheets/Data platforms.
• Maintain daily sales reports of materials in Excel.
• Update and maintain the GRN (Goods Received Note) report in Excel.
• Raw Material Management:
• Create purchase orders for raw materials such as Wire Rod and Billet in Odoo.
• Make purchase orders for other required raw materials.
• Collect raw material samples and hand them over to the QC department for testing.
• Consumption & Utility Tracking:
• Update Bright Bar and Rolling Mill consumption reports on Google Data.
• Maintain coal consumption reports in Excel.
• Calculate electricity units for production reporting.
• Odoo System Entries:
• Make manufacturing entries in Odoo.
• Enter maintenance requests into Odoo as needed.
• Production Monitoring:
• Maintain a detailed record of material transferred from the Rolling Mill to the Bright Bar section, including size, grade, length, heat number, and quantity.
• Check and verify the size of the material produced in the Rolling Mill.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Basic knowledge of raw materials used in manufacturing (e.g., wire rods, billets).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
