Power Transformer Electrical Design

As an Electrical Engineer with 4-10 years of experience in Transformer Electrical Design, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Assist the team leader in processing customer inquiries and tender notices promptly, completing the clarification list under the manager's guidance to support the Sales & Marketing function effectively. - Collaborate with the team leader to develop customized solutions that meet customer requirements, including product specifications, performance characteristics, and pricing data, within set timelines for customer evaluation. - Create comprehensive customer drawings for sales and marketing activities. - Incorporate any demanded design changes by the customer and finalize the electrical design component of the Second Design Submission within the specified timeframe to obtain customer approval. - Prepare tenders and partially complete customer enquiry responses with necessary documents and reports. - Support the manager in processing individual customer product requirements, developing the electrical design component and clarification list based on finalized customer product specifications, ensuring optimal performance, high reliability, and low manufacturing costs. - Compile sourcing information and prepare Bills of Material, incorporating any amendments as required. - Develop purchase specifications for electrical components to facilitate sourcing from Suppliers/Vendors. - Provide timely input documents to the mechanical design team to enable the development of the mechanical design component. - Transfer approved drawings to the planning and execution function at the project's commencement. - Conduct post-tender analysis, gather information on lost tenders from CMO, and analyze existing designs to minimize such occurrences in the future in consultation with the HOD.
