Job Description

As a Power Electronics Engineer, your role involves designing and selecting semiconductor parts, cooling mechanisms, passive components, protection circuits, sensing circuits, and various power products. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing electrical components such as temperature sensors, actuators, solenoids, motors, drives, batteries, and contactors. Your expertise in analog circuits, protection circuits, and controller hardware will be advantageous. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop power electronics components like converters, inverter modules, filter circuits, and battery chargers based on project requirements. - Develop and verify digital and analog power electronics control hardware. - Design power converters and inverters for Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and Harmonics solutions. - Conduct magnetic design and selection of MOSFETs, IGBTs, and SCRs for high-power applications. - Understand and apply fundamental analytical equations for designing inductors and transformers. - Use circuit simulation tools such as Matlab, PSIM, or LTspice. - Conduct electrical drives development cycles. - Familiarize yourself with safety norms requirements for Power Converter Systems. - Understand hardware-mechanical and hardware-software interfaces. - Utilize CRO, frequency meters, signal generators, power supplies, data loggers, and E-loads for testing and verification processes. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics & Communication or Electrical Engineering. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
