Power BI QE professionals

Roles & Responsibilities:

Perform end-to-end testing of Power BI reports and dashboards.
Validate data accuracy, report logic, and visual consistency.
Collaborate with BI developers, data engineers, and business analysts to understand requirements and test cases.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts (if applicable).
Identify and report bugs, inconsistencies, and performance issues.
Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Must-Have Skills:

Strong experience in
Power BI report testing
.
Proficiency in
SQL
for data validation.
Understanding of
DAX
and Power BI data models.
Experience with
test case creation
,
defect tracking
, and
QA tools
(e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
Familiarity with
ETL processes
and data warehousing concepts.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills:

Experience with
automation testing
for BI reports.
Knowledge of
Python or R
for data validation scripting.
Exposure to
CI/CD pipelines
in BI environments.
