Power BI Developer

As a new generation Digital & AI solutions provider, Tezo is seeking a Power BI Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI report and dashboard development. Your expertise should include expert-level DAX skills, strong data modeling skills, proficiency in Power Query for data shaping, and transformation, as well as strong SQL skills with experience in querying and optimizing large datasets. Experience in connecting Power BI to Azure data sources is also required. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Power BI Development & Visualization** - Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business and analytical needs. - Build complex data models in Power BI, integrating multiple data sources such as SQL, Azure Synapse, Data Lake, and APIs. - Write and optimize advanced DAX expressions for measures, KPIs, and calculated columns. - Create dynamic and responsive visualizations, bookmarks, tooltips, drill-throughs, and report-level navigation. - **Data Modeling & Architecture** - Design semantic data models optimized for Power BI performance and usability, following star/snowflake schema. - Collaborate with data engineers and modelers to ensure efficient data pipelines feeding into Power BI datasets. - Implement Row-Level Security (RLS), data refresh strategies, and performance optimization techniques. - Leverage Power Query (M Language) for data transformation and cleansing. - **Governance, Standards & Automation** - Implement Power BI governance best practices, including version control, workspace management, and usage monitoring. - Define and maintain data dictionaries, measure templates, and reporting standards for consistent delivery. - Automate report deployments and refreshes using Power BI Service, Gateways, and Azure DevOps pipelines. - **Stakeholder Collaboration** - Partner with business users, analysts, and executives to understand key metrics, KPIs, and reporting expectations. - Translate business requirements into visually appealing and technically efficient dashboards. - Conduct user training, demos, and handover sessions to ensure adoption and self-service BI maturity.
