Power BI Developer

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain production-grade reports, dashboards, and data models. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Power BI, strong SQL and Snowflake skills, and a deep understanding of data modeling, security, and governance best practices.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models for business users.Write efficient DAX and Power Query/M expressions; optimize performance and troubleshoot issues.Work with Snowflake, including SQL queries, warehouses, roles/grants, and views/materialized views.Design dimensional data models and convert ambiguous business requirements into actionable metrics and KPIs.Implement Row-Level Security (RLS), object-level security, and follow governance best practices.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide insights, and ensure reports meet business needs.Required Qualifications:4-6 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development.Strong DAX and Power Query/M skills with proven performance tuning experience.Hands-on experience with Snowflake (SQL, warehouses, roles/grants, views/materialized views).Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts.Experience implementing RLS, object-level security, and governance practices.Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with business stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with large datasets and complex BI solutions.Ability to document and maintain BI solutions following best practices.
