Power Bi Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and analytical Power BI Developer with hands-on experience across the Microsoft Power Platform including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate (Cloud and Desktop). The ideal candidate will lead efforts in data modeling, dashboard/report development, and process automation. This role will work closely with business stakeholders to transform data into meaningful insights and drive automation for business processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in Power BI development.

Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modeling best practices.

Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate (Cloud/Desktop).

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL, and Azure services.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards.4+ years of experience in Power BI development.

Key Responsibilities:

Power BI (Primary Focus):

Develop, publish, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.

Perform data modeling using Power BI Desktop with DAX and Power Query (M).

Connect Power BI to various data sources (SQL Server, SharePoint, Excel, APIs, etc.).

Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze reporting requirements.

Optimize reports for performance and usability.

Implement row-level security (RLS) and access controls on datasets.

Design and maintain Power BI datasets and dataflows.

Power Apps:

Design and develop custom canvas and model-driven apps to support business workflows.

Integrate Power Apps with data sources such as Dataverse, SharePoint, and SQL.

Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces to enhance usability.

Collaborate with stakeholders to automate manual data entry and streamline processes.

Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop):

Build and manage automated workflows to improve productivity and eliminate manual tasks.

Design Power Automate Cloud Flows for process automation across Microsoft 365 and external services.

Create Power Automate Desktop Flows (RPA) for automating legacy or desktop-based processes.

Monitor and troubleshoot flow performance and reliability.
