Power BI Developer

Role Overview: As a Power BI Developer, your primary focus will be providing comprehensive support for the globally used Microsoft Power BI platform. You will serve as the initial contact point for all Microsoft Power BI-related topics, ranging from basic architecture to specific reporting issues. Your role will involve the holistic report lifecycle, including creation, deployment, and visualization. Additionally, you will assist colleagues from both IT and business departments in the BI and data analytics environment, both domestically and internationally. You will also participate in data modeling and conduct necessary basic requirements analyses. It is essential to stay informed about Power BI functionalities and the latest developments to create solution concepts for complex requirements. Collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop and implement adjustments to the platform and existing systems will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will also be responsible for preparing and executing meetings, workshops, and training sessions. Key Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive support for the Microsoft Power BI platform - Serve as the initial contact point for all Microsoft Power BI-related topics - Manage the holistic report lifecycle - creation, deployment, and visualization - Assist colleagues from both IT and business departments in the BI and data analytics environment - Participate in data modeling and conduct basic requirements analyses - Stay informed about Power BI functionalities and latest developments - Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop and implement adjustments to the platform and existing systems - Prepare and execute meetings, workshops, and training sessions Qualification Required: - Degree in computer science, economics, or a comparable field - Strong Microsoft Power BI skills, including DAX proficiency, Data Integration, SQL Knowledge, and Power BI administration - Experience in Data Literacy and report design - Knowledge of designing BI solutions based on modern concepts - Initial cloud experience, ideally with Azure - Analytical thinking and structured work approach with familiarity in semantic and logical data modeling - Practical experience with the Microsoft technology stack, specifically Power BI Desktop, DAX, and Power BI Report Server - Experience implementing complex reporting requirements using Microsoft Power BI, preferably within a corporate setting,
