Job Summary:

Open Source DBA

Key Responsibilities:

Administer, monitor, and support
PostgreSQL
,
MySQL/MariaDB
, and
MongoDB
environments.
Provide
24/7 production support
to ensure database uptime, performance, and resilience.
Perform
database installation, configuration, patching
, and
migrations
.
Implement and manage
backups, restores, and disaster recovery
procedures.
Monitor system health and troubleshoot performance issues using tools like
Grafana
,
SYRN
, etc.
Manage
replication
, clustering, and
high-availability
setups.
Perform regular
security health checks
, patch vulnerabilities, and manage access controls.
Review and optimize
SQL queries and indexes
for better performance.
Automate routine tasks using
shell scripts
and Unix/Linux utilities
