Job Description

We are looking for a Postgres Admin for Mumbai Location

Job Description:

Position: Postgres Admin

Company : Litmus information System LLP

Client : Not disclosed

Location : Prabhadevi, Mumbai

PostgreSQL Administration

Assist in
installation and basic configuration
of PostgreSQL databases under guidance of senior DBAs.
Perform
routine administration tasks
such as user management, role assignments, schema creation, and permission handling.
Support
backup and restore operations
using tools like pg_dump, pg_restore, and pg_basebackup.
Monitor database health, logs, storage utilization, and connections
through monitoring tools.
Perform
initial troubleshooting
of incidents and escalate performance-related or complex issues to L2/L3 teams.
Apply
standard security policies
including user access control and password management.
Participate in
scheduled maintenance activities
and assist with database housekeeping tasks.
Maintain
documentation of incidents, changes, and operating procedures
for knowledge sharing and consistency.
