PostgreSQL Administrator

Core Skill Requirements: Candidates should be proficient in the following areas:

* PostgreSQL Architecture - Deep understanding of internal components and process flows.

* Installation & Configuration - Initial setup, environment preparation, and configuration best practices.

* Database Objects & Data Management - Schema design, indexing, partitioning, and data lifecycle management.

* Database Security - Role-based access control, encryption, and audit mechanisms.

* Backup & Recovery - Strategies for full/incremental backups, PITR, and disaster recovery.

* Database Upgrade - Version upgrade planning, compatibility checks, and rollback strategies.

* Performance Tuning & Optimisation - Query tuning, resource management, and diagnostic tools.

* High Availability & Replication - Streaming replication, logical replication, failover mechanisms.

* Monitoring & Troubleshooting - Use of monitoring tools, log analysis, and proactive issue resolution.

Candidate Profile

* 3-8 years of hands-on experience in PostgreSQL administration.

* Exposure to enterprise-scale environments.

* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

* Willingness to work from Mumbai location.
