Job Description

As a Postgres Developer with 6 to 13 years of experience, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Hands-on development and support experience in Postgres SQL database. - Proficiency in PL/pgSQL coding, including implementing queries, stored procedures, cursors, functions, and triggers. - Ability to translate Oracle PL/SQL constructs to Postgres PL/pgSQL effectively. - In-depth understanding of Postgres Database architecture and features. - Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization, with the capability to tune Postgres PL/pgSQL code for improved efficiency. - Monitoring PostgreSQL database performance issues and resolving them effectively. - Proficiency in data loading and validations processes. - Experience in database migrations from Oracle to Postgres will be considered a plus. - Good grasp of Database designs and data modelling techniques. - Knowledge and exposure to GCP cloud infrastructure and tools. - Effective communication with Onshore clients and dependent teams. - Strong problem-solving skills, good communication abilities, and a positive can-do attitude. - Proactive nature, requiring minimal supervision, and the ability to work effectively as a team player.
