Job Description

This job is based in Australia. The School of Chemical Engineering at UNSW is offering an opportunity for a Research Associate. As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, you will be responsible for conducting scientific research related to an ARC Discovery Project focusing on A Probabilistic Approach to Big Data-Based Industrial Process Control (DP250101137). Your main tasks will involve research on control theory and machine learning techniques for project DP250101137. You will collaborate with the Process Control Group within the School of Chemical Engineering. In this role, you will report to Professor Jie Bao and will not have any direct reports. Your salary for this position will be at Level A, ranging from $91,381 to $121,838 per annum, plus 17% superannuation. This is a full-time position on a fixed-term contract lasting for 24 months.
