Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Port Operations Specialist, based in Haldia. The primary responsibilities include overseeing cargo handling activities, managing operational schedules, coordinating with stakeholders for efficient cargo movement, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role also involves addressing operational challenges, optimizing logistics solutions, and contributing to achieving company objectives in port operations.

• Strong analytical skills to assess processes and improve operational efficiency
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and stakeholders
• Experience in operations management and project management to oversee multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Experience in sales or customer relationship management is preferred
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with port operations, logistics, and relevant regulatory requirements is advantageous
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and systems is a plus
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
