Key Responsibilities

• Podcast Editing

  : Clean and polish raw audio recordings (noise reduction, volume leveling, pacing, adding intros/outros, background music, etc.).

• Video Editing

  : Transform raw footage into compelling reels, shorts, and video stories for our social media platforms.

• Motion Graphics

  : Design and animate basic elements like text overlays, intros, outros, and transitions that add polish to edits.

• Content Styling

  : Apply UE’s distinct style to craft captivating, story-driven visuals and audio experiences.

• Collaboration

  : Work closely with our content and creative teams to ensure each episode and reel aligns with UE’s voice and standards.

• Feedback Integration

  : Be open to quick revisions in sync with our fast-paced social media and podcast calendar.

What We’re Looking For

• Creative Vision

  : Talent for turning raw audio/video into engaging narratives that spark emotion.

• Editing Skills

  : Proficiency in tools like Adobe Audition, Audacity, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro.

• Storytelling Ability

  : Understanding of pacing, flow, and how sound/visuals create compelling stories.

• Adaptability

  : Ability to work independently and adjust based on team feedback.

• Attention to Detail

  : A commitment to polished, professional output.

• Timeliness

  : Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining quality.

Bonus Points

• Prior experience editing podcasts (or a sample to show).
• Knowledge of short-form content editing for Instagram Reels, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts.
• Skills in motion graphics/animation.
• A portfolio showcasing emotionally engaging content.
