Job Title: Junior Project Manager (PMO) (1-4 Years)

Location: Bangalore, India

Job Description:

As a Junior Project Manager, you will be an integral part of our PMO team, assisting in the effective management and execution of projects. This role is ideal for individuals with 0-3 years of experience in project management who are looking to grow and develop their skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Coordination:

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and finalization of projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projects.

2. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, track project metrics, and prepare detailed project status reports.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets.

3. Financial Management and Cost Control:

  • Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Assist in the preparation of project cost estimates and financial forecasts.
  • Track and report on project financial performance to senior management.

4. Communication:

  • Facilitate communication across project teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
  • Conduct regular meetings to ensure all stakeholders are informed of project status and progress.

5. Risk Management:

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
  • Track project risks and implement solutions to minimize impact.

6. Resource Management:

  • Assist in resource planning and allocation in line with project requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze team performance to ensure efficiency.

7. Supporting Senior PMs:

  • Provide support to senior project managers in high-priority projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Learn and develop project management skills under the guidance of experienced PMs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of professional experience in project management or a related role.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or similar) is a plus.

    • Lead the planning and execution of projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
    • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

  • 3-7 years of professional experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
