We are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing and Firefighting Engineer to design, implement, and maintain efficient plumbing and fire protection systems in commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing water supply, drainage, and fire suppression systems while ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities
Plumbing System Design & Implementation

Design, install, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sanitary piping.
Conduct hydraulic calculations for water supply and drainage networks.
Select appropriate materials, fittings, and fixtures for efficient system performance.
Coordinate with civil and mechanical teams to integrate plumbing designs into overall project plans.
Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes (IPC, UPC, NBC, etc.) and industry standards.

Firefighting System Design & Maintenance

Design and oversee the installation of fire protection systems, including sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, fire suppression systems, and extinguishers.
Perform hydraulic calculations for fire suppression networks.
Ensure compliance with NFPA, NBC, FM Global, and local fire safety regulations.
Conduct fire risk assessments and recommend improvements.
Work with authorities to obtain necessary approvals for fire protection systems.

Project Coordination & Execution

Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
Review technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs for plumbing and fire protection projects.
Supervise on-site plumbing and firefighting system installations and conduct inspections.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to plumbing and fire systems.

Quality & Safety Compliance

Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality control measures.
Conduct system performance tests, including pressure tests and flow rate checks.
Maintain documentation and reports for plumbing and firefighting installations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience:
3-8 years in plumbing and firefighting system design.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, Pipe Flow Expert, and hydraulic calculation tools.
Knowledge of international codes like NFPA, IPC, UPC, NBC, IS, ASHRAE.
Experience in designing water distribution, drainage, and fire suppression systems.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
