Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, and optimize Oracle database applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in PL/SQL programming, stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning to support business applications. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages . Optimize SQL queries and improve database performance tuning . Design and implement database structures, indexes, and partitions for efficient data processing. Work closely with business analysts, software engineers, and QA teams to understand requirements. Debug and troubleshoot database-related issues in development, testing, and production environments. Develop and maintain ETL processes for data migration and transformation. Implement security best practices for database access and operations. Monitor database performance and resource utilization , identifying areas for improvement. Write and maintain technical documentation for database processes and stored procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience as a PL/SQL Developer. Strong expertise in PL/SQL programming (stored procedures, functions, triggers, packages). Experience in query optimization and performance tuning . Hands-on experience with Oracle databases (Oracle 11g/12c/19c) . Knowledge of database indexing, partitioning, and materialized views . Experience with ETL tools and data migration processes. Familiarity with Oracle Forms, Reports, or APEX (optional but preferred). Strong understanding of database security, backup, and recovery strategies . Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines . Excellent problem-solving and SQL debugging skills . Preferred Skills: Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus. Exposure to cloud databases (AWS RDS, Oracle Cloud, Azure SQL) . Knowledge of Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Snowflake. Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a DevOps environment .
