Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Siemens PLC Programmer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for industrial applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Siemens PLCs (S7-1200, S7-1500, S7-300, S7-400), TIA Portal, and SCADA systems, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:PLC Programming & Automation Development

• Develop, configure, and optimize Siemens PLC programs using TIA Portal / Step 7.
• Design and implement HMI & SCADA systems (WinCC, FactoryTalk, or similar).
• Integrate PLC, sensors, drives, and industrial networks (PROFINET, PROFIBUS, MODBUS, OPC, etc.).
• Develop and modify Ladder Logic, Function Blocks, Structured Text, and STL programs.

Testing, Debugging & Troubleshooting

• Perform PLC system commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting on-site and remotely.
• Analyze system failures and develop solutions for process optimization and automation reliability.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and process engineers to optimize system performance.

Project Execution & Documentation

• Work on automation projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and operational manuals.
• Conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) & SAT (Site Acceptance Test) for validation.

Customer Support & Training

• Provide on-site and remote support for system maintenance and upgrades.
• Train operators and maintenance personnel on PLC operation and troubleshooting.

Key Requirements:

✅ Educational Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
✅ Experience: 2-5 years in Siemens PLC programming & industrial automation.
✅ Technical Skills:

• Siemens PLCs: S7-1200, S7-1500, S7-300, S7-400
• Programming Tools: TIA Portal, Step 7, WinCC, SCADA, HMI
• Industrial Networks: PROFINET, PROFIBUS, MODBUS, OPC-UA
• Motion Control: VFDs, Servo Drives, Pneumatic & Hydraulic Systems

✅ Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex PLC/HMI systems

✅ Industry Knowledge:

Experience in manufacturing, process automation, food, pharma, or automotive is a plus.

✅ Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to interact with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

✅ Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel for on-site installation, commissioning, and support.
