Job Responsibilities:
PLC and HMI Programming:
Design, develop, and maintain programs for Mitsubishi PLCs using GX Works3 software and configure Mitsubishi HMIs, particularly the GOT2000 and GOT2000.
System Integration:
Integrate PLCs with HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, RFID systems, and SCADA systems to create seamless automation solutions, ensuring efficient communication and data exchange between devices.
Troubleshooting and Maintece:
Troubleshooting of PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and RFID systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
MES and SQL Management:
Implement and manage Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and utilize SQL for database management, including writing queries and integrating databases with automation systems.
Industrial Low Voltage Power and Control Circuit Design:
Design and implement low voltage power and control circuits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed documentation for all systems, including PLC and HMI programs, VFD configurations, servo setups, RFID integrations, MES implementations, and SQL databases.
Technical/ Functional:
A) PLC Programming:
Proficiency in using GX Works3 software for programming Mitsubishi PLCs, including Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram.
Expertise in data handling, managing global and local variables, data registers, and memory areas within the PLC.
Ability to create and use custom function blocks to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance program modularity.
Strong debugging and maintece skills to ensure system reliability.
Familiarity with various networks used with Mitsubishi PLCs, such as CC-Link IE TSN, CC-Link IE Field Network, and Ethernet-based networks, to enable seamless communication between IT systems and the shop floor.
B) Integration:
Ability to integrate PLCs with HMIs to create seamless automation systems, including setting up communication protocols and ensuring data exchange between devices.
Experience in integrating PLCs with other automation systems and SCADA.
Knowledge of handling data within both PLCs and HMIs, including managing variables, data registers, and memory areas.
Familiarity with RFID technology, including the setup and integration of RFID readers and tags for tracking and automation purposes.
Understanding of VFD principles and experience in configuring and maintaining VFDs for various industrial applications.
Experience with MES software platforms and their integration with PLC and HMI systems.
Proficiency in SQL for database management, including writing queries, managing databases, and integrating SQL databases with MES and automation systems.
Design and implement low voltage power and control circuits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
C) Project Management:
Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Work closely with electrical engineers and other automation professionals to integrate these systems.
Train end-users on the use and maintece of PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, RFID, MES, and SQL systems.
Maintain detailed documentation for PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and RFID systems, including diagrams, flowcharts, and user manuals.
