Urgent Hiring: PLC Programmer (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Background Preferred – Dairy Automation)

Role Overview:

We are urgently looking for a PLC programmer with experience in Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation systems, ideally in dairy automation or similar industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will support site installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation systems, including PLCs, motion control, and VFDs/servos. This is a field-oriented role that requires a hands-on approach and frequent site visits.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Instrumentation, Control & Electrical Systems

• Assist with the installation, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation and electrical equipment.
• Support troubleshooting to ensure safety and high system performance.
• Maintain proper documentation for repairs, calibration, and procedures.
• Read and interpret schematic diagrams and P&IDs.

2. Site Visits & Field Support

• Perform on-site maintenance and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with senior engineers for seamless commissioning and operational startup.
• Address real-time issues and provide hands-on or remote troubleshooting.

3. PLC Programming & Troubleshooting

• Work with Rockwell Automation (ControlLogix/CompactLogix) for basic to intermediate PLC programming and debugging.
• Assist in programming modifications, testing, and system optimization.
• Help develop and interpret PLC diagrams and manuals.
• Support installation and commissioning of automation systems.

4. Continuous Learning & Growth

• Stay current with industry trends and tools in instrumentation and automation.
• Take initiative to upskill in PLC programming and system integration.

5. Flexibility & Adaptability

• Embrace new tasks and technologies with enthusiasm.
• Show initiative in solving unique challenges in industrial control systems.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–8 years in industrial automation, instrumentation, or electrical systems.

Skills Required: Technical:

• Knowledge of instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Basic to intermediate PLC programming (Rockwell ControlLogix/CompactLogix).
• Understanding of motion control and VFD/servo systems is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to manage field tasks and prioritize effectively.

Other:

• Open to travel for site visits based on project needs.
• Ability to work independently and in team environments.
