Job Description

Responsibilities:

Design and develop PLC programs for automated systems
Troubleshoot and debug existing PLC systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
Work with vendors to source and evaluate automation equipment
Participate in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automation systems
Develop and maintain documentation for PLC programs and system functionality
Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in PLC technology

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
3+ years of experience in PLC programming and automation systems
Strong knowledge of PLC software and hardware, including Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Schneider Electric
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, etc.)
Experience with Human Machine Interface (HMI) design and development
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Experience in industrial control systems or robotics
Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in automation
