Playwright Automation

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will: (Principal Responsibilities)

• The role is responsible for both conducting and coordinating QA tasks accordingly, managing releases and supporting existing systems, and being able to utilize extensive automation experience to support all activities..
• Delivering well structured, maintainable and fully tested systems to time and budget..
• Working through the development and support phases of project delivery.. 
• Strong communication skills and experience in liaising with clients at onshore locations..
• Responsible for the gatekeeper process and coordinating with the UAT team for sign-off..
• maintain test scenarios and tools to uphold the highest standards of quality assurance..
• Automation Testing is constantly evolving due to advancements in technology. As an Automation Test Engineer, you will need to stay updated with the latest trends and learn new tools and techniques regularly.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: (Must have Requirements)

• Experiencing in building and enhancing automation frameworks using Playwright, Java, Cucumber, Spring, Java Scripting, Serenity reporting, Selenium, Cypress
• Understand data needs for testing, liaising with the PM/support teams and relevant parties for data requirements.
• End-to-end functional testing experience
• Conduct Test Design walkthroughs and reviews.
• Basic knowledge of Oracle along with should follow Java Design Principles and J2EE. 
• Work with Automation Frameworks and enhancement gained through large scale projects. 
• Comfortable operating in an agile” development team, self-starting, motivated & Passion for test driven development.
• Using AI tool would be added advantage

The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements: (Good to have Requirements)

• working experience of writing BDD Feature files with clear on BDD/TDD concepts
• Working experience of managing environment and build / deployment activities
• Experience of understanding complex SQL queries, Unix & Windows
• Experience of financial information systems development
• Financial product knowledge (both fixed income products – bonds, swaps, rates or equity products)
• Knowledge of both primary and secondary equity / bond pricing
