Job Description

o The role of a Plant Welding Coordinator is to assume Accountability for all Welding Related Topics in the plant starting from Welding process setup and validation, qualification and certification and functional management of welding related plant staff ensuring serial maintenance of welding process and continuously improvement there. The main mission of the role are to be:
o accountable to apply and maintain all FCM standards on welding process parameters. o accountable to validate all welding processes including changes according to FCM or Customer specifications. o Actively contributing to the FCM welding expert network o Accountable for the validation and technical supervision of plant welding technicians o Responsible to continuously improve welding processes. o Accountable to escalate welding related risks to plant manager. o accountable for certification of manual welders in the plant o Supervising test piece welding if welder certification is performed internally Manage the personnel issues of the assigned team.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have/be: Minimum education level
Diploma/ BE/ B tech (With Welding Certificate) preferably in Electronics Experience:
Minimum 5 - 7 years experience in robotic welding processes - Fanuc, Yasakawa Skills and competencies
o International mind set. o Leadership skills o Operational level of English o One of the below. o International Welding Engineer (IWE) (Certificate issued by the International Institute of Welding (IIW)) or o International Welding Technician (IWT) (Certificate issued by the International Institute of Welding (IIW)) or o International Welding Specialist (IWS) (Certificate issued by the International Institute of Welding (IIW)) or o AWS Certified Welding Engineer (American Welding Society) or o Certified Welding Inspector from approved internationally recognized organization or o A minimum of 5 years experience in welding operations of a plant and with on-the-job welding experience and a written validation of the FCM Senior Welding Expert
