Job Description

Job Title: Plant Operator Water & Wastewater Treatment

Location:

Plant Operator

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor
Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)
and other water treatment systems.
Conduct routine checks of pumps, blowers, motors, valves, and other mechanical/electrical equipment.
Record operational parameters such as flow rates, chemical consumption, pressure readings, and daily logs.
Assist in chemical dosing and ensure smooth functioning of treatment processes like aeration, clarification, filtration, and sludge handling.
Perform basic maintenance activities and coordinate breakdowns with plant maintenance teams.
Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the plant area as per safety and hygiene standards.
Ensure compliance with
safety norms
, company policies, and environmental guidelines.
Prepare and share daily operation reports with the Plant In-charge/Supervisor.

Required Skills & Competencies

Basic knowledge of
STP/WTP/ETP
operation (training can be provided).
Understanding of chemical dosing, pumps, motors, and mechanical equipment.
Ability to identify and report operational issues in a timely manner.
Awareness of
safety protocols
and emergency procedures.
Strong learning attitude and willingness to work in shifts if required.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Benefits

Salary:
22,000 To 25,000 CTC
