Plant Operator

A. Job Purpose: Running plant smoothly as per SOP with safety to achieve production target.

B. Main Duties, Roles & Responsibilities: Plant operation with safety to achievegiven target.

C. Key Responsibilities

1. Take the charge of the status of the plant from the previous shift operator.

2. Read the report book & check the data’s & reading, then take plant round to ensure the status are correct as per the charge given.

3. If any deviation found immediately report to the supervisor & take care the corrective action as per his guidance.

4. Plan the total shift activities & priorities the work.

5. Monitor the current batches as per SOP & record the parameters, sample & records its result in the BMR send in process.

6. Ensure all safety norms are fallowed during operational activities by him as well as the helpers working under him.

7. Make sure all containers are properly labeled & there is only one label on it.

8. Keep the working area neat & clean by properly arranging the material & keeping the scrap & waste on its appropriate position.

9. Arrange the material from the store for the next batch /shift to avoid any delay in the process.

10. Train the juniors & helpers to improve their skill.

11. Give suggestions for the improvement of the operation.

12. Any other work as assigned by Management & HOD.

D. Operational sequence of activities :

Take charge from previous shift operator plan prioritize shift activities

Monitor & record current batches, Housekeeping, training to juniors.
