Key Responsibilities:

1.

• Equipment uptime and reliability metrics
• Maintenance cost vs. budget
• EHS compliance scores
• Inventory accuracy and availability of critical spares
• Staff training hours and skill enhancement
• Timeliness of complaint resolution
• Execution of cost/energy saving initiatives

2.

• Develop and implement maintenance policies and ensure statutory compliance across mechanical systems.
• Ensure adherence to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) standards as per company and statutory guidelines.
• Implement and monitor effective change management processes, contract safety practices, and SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) performance improvement initiatives.

• Define clear maintenance goals and objectives aligned with organizational strategy.
• Design and implement appropriate maintenance structures and frameworks to achieve these objectives.
• Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget, including forecasting for CAPEX requirements for aging assets.
• Identify and propose cost-saving and energy-saving projects for management approval and implementation.

• Establish performance metrics for maintenance activities, focusing on cost, reliability, and energy efficiency.
• Design and maintain documentation systems, including MIS and reports for tracking compliance, progress, and performance indicators.
• Develop administrative controls to ensure the effective governance of maintenance operations.
• Manage critical spare parts and consumable inventory to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
• Ensure high standards of housekeeping and discipline in all engineering-related activities.
