Job Description

1. Role Overview

Plant Incharge

Production
Quality Control
Mechanical Maintenance
Electrical Maintenance

highly disciplined, process-driven leader

2. Key Responsibilities

A) Production Management

Plan & achieve
daily/weekly/monthly production targets
in CBM.
Oversee
slurry preparation, dosing, casting, cutting, autoclaving & packing
.
Minimize downtime through proper coordination with Mechanical & Electrical teams.
Maintain
production MIS, batch reports & material consumption
.

B) Quality Control

Ensure blocks meet
IS 2185 Standards
(Density, Compressive Strength, Moisture, Dimensions).
Implement SOPs for curing, handling, storage & loading.
Monitor raw material quality
Flyash, Lime, Cement, Aluminium, Gypsum
.
Reduce rejection, breakages & dimensional variation.

C) Mechanical Maintenance

Preventive and breakdown maintenance for:

Mixer, slurry tanks
Cutting machines
Trolley lines, lifting systems
Autoclave & boiler equipment

Maintain spare parts inventory & AMC management.

D) Electrical Maintenance

Daily monitoring of motors, control panels, PLC, sensors.
Ensure zero electrical breakdowns and safety compliance.

E) Manpower & Operations

Manage 100+ manpower – operators, technicians, helpers, housekeeping, security.
Shift scheduling, discipline, safety training.
Vendor coordination for RM, diesel, utilities.

F) Reporting

Daily MIS to Management covering:

Production
Rejections
Power consumption
Diesel consumption
RM stock & usage
Maintenance work done

Implement costsaving measures.
