Plant Head

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, logistics, and safety.
  
• Ensure optimal utilization of resources, equipment, and manpower.
  
• Drive production targets while maintaining cost efficiency.
  

Team Leadership

• Lead, motivate, and develop cross-functional teams including production, engineering, maintenance, and quality control.
  
• Implement effective workforce planning and performance management.
  

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to quality standards (ISO, FTA, etc.) and customer specifications.
  
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  

Process Improvement

• Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Identify and eliminate process bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  

Planning & Coordination

• Coordinate with supply chain, procurement, and sales teams to align production schedules with market demand.
  
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure just-in-time material availability.
  

Reporting & Analysis

• Maintain MIS reports on production KPIs, downtime, yield, and quality metrics.
  
• Report to senior management with actionable insights and improvement plans.
  

Key Requirements:

• Education:

  B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Printing Technology or related field; MBA preferred.

• Experience:

  1015 years of experience in plant operations, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.

• Industry Exposure:

  Printing, packaging, flexographic plates, or pre-press solutions industry preferred.

• Skills:

• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  
• Knowledge of flexo plate making processes, digital workflows, and automation in pre-press is a plus.
  
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  
• Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools.
