Planning Manager

As the Head of Production Planning & Control, your role is crucial in contributing to the growth of the organization through efficient production planning and effective control of fabric and garments, ensuring on-time delivery. Your responsibilities will include: - Preparation of time and action calendars for each order, from order receipt to garment delivery. - Follow-up on fabric, yarn, trims, and accessories requirements for each order in line with customer specifications. - Coordinating with all factories for optimal capacity planning, including line planning and maintaining controlled inventory levels. - Planning and prioritizing operations to meet delivery timelines. - Communicating production planning details to all factories in the supply chain. - Developing process improvement strategies to ensure effective control systems throughout the supply chain. - Monitoring material movements in the production cycle to ensure continuous operations. - Tracking material shortages and providing immediate solutions. - Closely monitoring all pre-production activities at the factory level. - Coordinating with marketing and merchandising teams to ensure timely delivery of finished garments. - Reporting Management Information System (MIS) on order execution status daily for each factory to top management. Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in supply chain management, business management, or related field preferred. - 10 to 20 years of experience in the garments industry. - Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or other relevant accreditation advantageous. - Proven experience as a production planner. - Sound knowledge of garmenting operations and related quality control aspects. - Familiarity with material requirements planning (MRP) and related software. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Proficiency in work domain related software applications.
