Planning Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.
• Prepare baseline programs, progress reports, and look-ahead schedules.
• Analyze project delays and propose mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors for schedule alignment.
• Track progress, productivity, and resource utilization against the project plan.
• Identify critical paths and potential risks affecting project timelines.
• Prepare and present project status reports to clients and senior management.
• Integrate project costs, schedules, and resources for overall project control.
• Support tender planning and bid submissions with preliminary scheduling input.
• Ensure compliance with project standards, safety regulations, and contractual requirements.

• Proficiency in

  Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Excel

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of construction sequences, methodologies, and resource planning.
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) is a plus.
