Job Title: Planning Engineer Company: Del PD Pumps & Gears Private Limited Location: Surendranagar, Gujarat Department: Production / Planning Job Summary: The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products. The role involves coordinating with various departments, optimizing resources, and maintaining efficiency in manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and manage production plans based on customer orders and forecast. Monitor material availability and coordinate with procurement for timely supply. Ensure capacity planning for machines and manpower to meet production targets. Track work-in-progress (WIP) and update schedules to avoid delays. Analyze production data and identify bottlenecks for process improvement. Coordinate with design, quality, and dispatch teams for smooth workflow. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production status. Implement cost-effective planning strategies to optimize resources. Ensure compliance with company standards and safety norms. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Experience: 2–5 years in production planning (preferably in pump or gear manufacturing industry). Strong knowledge of planning tools, ERP systems, and MS Excel. Good understanding of manufacturing processes and material flow. Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills. Key Competencies: Time management and organizational skills.
