Planning Engineer

*Key Responsibilities:*

*Project Planning & Scheduling*

Prepare, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project / Primavera (P6).

Develop baseline schedules, milestones, and delivery plans for all project phases.

Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to align project timelines.

Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress reports against baseline schedules.

*Monitoring & Control*

Track project progress and identify deviations in timelines or critical paths.

Conduct delay analysis and recommend corrective or preventive actions.

Monitor material procurement schedules and ensure timely availability as per project needs.

Ensure all scheduling and reporting align with project contractual requirements.

*Coordination & Documentation*

Collaborate with various internal teamsContracts, Execution, QS, Procurement, Design.

Attend review meetings, highlight risks, and support decision-making with data.

Prepare daily/weekly dashboards and highlight critical activities and bottlenecks.

Assist in preparing project presentations and management reports.

*Risk Identification & Mitigation*

Identify potential risks affecting project timelines and propose mitigation strategies.

Ensure planning-related compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines.

*Skills & Competencies*

Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 / MS Project.

Understanding of construction methodologies, drawings, and site execution processes.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
