Job Description

MAIN PURPOSE

Overall responsibility for ensuring the integrity of all schedules prepared (and updated) by the Planning Department; hence to provide guidance to his team.

LOCATION

As per requirement

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Worked with established construction management companies or contractors
  • Knowledge in Design, Procurement and Construction Management
  • Experience in environments which place great emphasis on planning and timely completion. Overseas experience would be advantageous.
  • Minimum 20+ years relevant experience
  • Scheduling software knowledge, Primavera, MSP

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BE/ BTech Civil
  • Postgraduate in Construction Management (NICMAR) .

SKILLS

  • To head up department and to build up an effective team.
  • Overview of schedules on all major projects.
  • Support / audit of schedules on minor projects.
  • Ensure management are kept fully informed on critical / overdue activities.
  • Skilled in understanding all activities in project management which impact on the schedule
  • Ensure adequate systems are in place to manage the design process, including systems for document control with respect to drawings and preparation of MDR to senior management of Colliers and Client.
  • Send daily progress reports to the client and project team on a daily basis.

  • Fully conversant with relevant software Primavera P6 / Sure Trak and MS Projects
  • Expertise in various schedules:

- Master

- Preconstruction

- Construction

- Tender / Contract restraints (for each package)

- Fit out

  • Conversant in WBS
